Class Trip to the City!

We took 3 different modes of transport! Bus, Ferry and Shank's Pony (walking).

We had morning tea in Devonport, then climbed Victoria Hill and ate lunch. We really liked the mushrooms!

Then we took the ferry- we saw lots of exciting buildings!

When we got to town we listened to some musicians! It was lots of fun!

Construction Fun

Today we managed to create a tower taller than Ms S and Mrs Scott. Isn't this amazing! Look at all the fun and learning we are having!

Assembly Week!

Today we started training for 2 things...

Mathletics which is a competition for our students to compete against other year ones and twos across the country. They can also win prizes!

Our assembly! We are using Te Rakau sticks and practicing throwing and catching these sticks in a variety of ways! The music and video we are working off is above. Can you help me practice at home?

We will also be making up our own pattern too! We hope you come to watch on Friday!

Great first week back!

It has been an exciting first week back at school! We set new learning goals this week. We made these SMART-
Specific... I know exactly what I want to learn and how I can learn it
Measurable.... something I can learn to do in 9 weeks
Achievable.... something that I can just learn to do in 9 weeks
Relevant.... I want to learn to do something that will help my learning
Timebound... I have 9 weeks to learn this
